Cruft - a dream became true !
Crufts show concept for me expresses a synonym for tradition, show dog breeders skill and beauty. I dreamed that I have to experience this exhibition personally. Seeing the oldest exhibition in the world, to meet personally famous breeder and of course enjoy the beauty of the best dogs in the background of the famous "green carpets".
My dream of participating in the "Crufts" I managed to realize this year. After a successful qualifying at the International Dog Show in Bratislava, I also entered my seventeen months fox terrier smooth Latonia Tuskulum (homely called TINA) Class "Junior". The main actors of this trip were Mr. And Mrs. Nemesszeghy, who organized a great trip to Birmingham six people with their dogs. The journey along the highway is extremely tiring and demanding, however, took place without the slightest hitch. Upon arrival at the hotel we first take care of the dogs and then soon tired they fell asleep, we fetched forces for Saturday's show.This morning I woke up with enthusiasm and trepidation. A man sees things differently big challenges for the year ahead and the "D" day. In our quest, I was the only one who has not been to Crufts. In the morning I like to hear any advice from experienced colleagues. I was surprised that the car park is quite far from the fairgrounds. But the fifteen-minute morning walk can not hurt anyone. After successfully mastered input for me was the news that every exhibitor had their stuff for the space allotted in a sort of cubicle that is always within reach of the show ring.
Both breeds were judged by Mr. Lynn Fox Terrier Snow from Great Britain. Entered were 73 and 84 smooth-haired fox terrier wirehaired fox terriers. At 9:00 pm it began assessing haired fox terrier. I met the most famous English fox terrier breeder, but also many breeders of "continental" Europe and the USA. I am pleased with the presence of my Finnish friends, spouses Tuovinen. Outside of English dogs were also represented dogs from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Norway, France, USA, Czech republic. I carefully watched especially requirements for exhibitors. Referee require each assessment after presentation of the dog on the table in a triangle figure and subsequently move in the direction back and forth. Often it was the only moment when the dog passed. The actual determination of the order was to be awarded to the class of statics. Any mistake in the presentation marked the immediate end of all hopes. After all, it is a traditional technique of assessing the English judges. I also understand that the exhibitor himself chooses the order in which boards in the classroom.
In Junior class impressed me the winner Darlaur Dakota (white and black dog excellent anatomy and presentation). In class limit was brought Agria Total Recall owned by our member Ivy kings. In strongly represented numerically class took excellent fourth place. His presentation was excellent. The winner of the class limit became Belfox Matador - higher distinctive white and black dog, another dog breeding of high-quality Belfox Emperor. Highest quality in dogs was seen in the classroom "Open". Referee chosen as the winner of the American Absolutely Ambitious, followed by English Yoxella Wiki Leaks and other US Foxwell Rama Power Strike. Best male and the title of "Challenge Certificate (CC)" was awarded Absolutely Supertitious followed Darlaur Dakota.
After class veterans (Migley Domino won with Gosel) and junior (first place went Saredon American Girl) started Junior class. In the class "Junior" which I showed my bitch Latonia Tuskulum. The actual exposure was for me a great experience. The class "Junior" We were nine competitors of bitches pure English breeding. I was pleasantly surprised at the choice of the arbitration among the five best bitches class "Junior" to me then shocked its win. Second place went to Manuella Weiss with a female Yoxella Why Not de la Rosa. At the conclusion of our assessment of Breed Tina waited with us fight for the title of most valuable - CC (Challenge Certificate). The competition we have been breeding female Belgian (Belfox Malice ), French (Ironybelfox du Manoir Saint Adrien) and of course the English breeding females (especially the winner of the class "Open" Glendraterra Suzi Kew). Females can judge examined only in statics and moving back and forth. The moment when, after a brief hesitation on Tina showed forget for life. Indescribable euphoria filled me with joy to the fullest. I could not even step out of line, I could not believe it. First thoughts wandered to my dad, who breed Fox Terriers in our family founded. Unfortunately at that time was in hospital because memories of him were more intense ... Title R-CC was awarded Ironybelfox du Manoir Saint Adrien. It is worth mentioning that all Belfox dogs were hanled by youth exhibitors who always fulfilled its task perfectly !
In BOB competition judge gained title to Absolutely Supertitious, owned by FW Schoneberg from Germany. My first visit Crufts became filled dream a little boy from Wallachia, which awakening in the magazines articles dreamed of a successful promenade along the green carpet.
